Qualified National Eligibility Test held in October 2001 by ASRB (Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board),ICAR, New Delhi in the professional subject CHILD DEVELOPMENT which grants eligibility for Lectureship/Assistant Professorship. This is recognized by the UGC/CSIR too.

Obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counseling from Institute for Psychotherapy and Management Sciences, Mumbai.

Obtained M.Sc (Home Sc.) Degree in “Human Development and Family studies” from M.S. University Vadodara, Gujarat in the year 2000 securing. AGP 4.56, First Division.

Obtained B.Sc. (Home Sc) degree in the year 1997 from Lady Irwin College, New Delhi.

Secured first division and obtained 70% marks in Secondary School Examination (AISE) in year 1991 and 78% marks (PCB) in Senior Secondary School Examination (AISSCE) in the year 1993 respectively conducted by C.B.S.E. New Delhi.

Currently conducting workshops for parents ,teachers as well as children on relevant issues in varied settings such as schools and pre-schools

Worked as the Principal of Play School with International brand “Santa kidz: India’s 1 st Brain School with DMI Technology” in Jodhpur, Rajasthan from August 2016 to February 2017 .

Successfully completed a summer training in ( PRAYAS) 59 , Tughlakabad, Institutional Area, New Delhi (An institute for the neglected child and juvenile justice) from 6 th June to 3 rd July, 1999 Obtaining “O” (excellent) grade and a certificate of appreciation for works on a project titled “Non formal Education in PRAYAS”.

Experience of working in “ Killol Day Care Centre” and “Chetan Bal Wadi” Vadodara as a field work trainee.

Participated in “ Childs Right Programme” organized by HDFS University dept and also in Heath Centre” of MS University as a “student supervisor” to fulfill the requirement of M. Sc. Programme.

Poster Presentation on “ Liberalizing Commercial Sex workers in North Bihar – An exercise in empowerment of women indulged in flesh trade – A Pilot study “ in XXIV Biennial Conference from Oct 3-5 2001 organized by Home Science Association of India, Delhi Chapter, at – Lady Irwin College.

Participated in a workshop based on Video film festival (Theme – Images of Social Development) from 8 th March – 10 th March 2000 jointly organized by Early Child Development – Learning Resource Center” (ECDLRD), Women’s Studies Research Center (WSRC ) and Dept. of HDFS, M.S. University, Vadadora.

Attended Guest lecture programme by eminent visiting scholars in HDFS dept. during Jan to Aug 1999 (i) Alice Schlegal, Dept. of Anthropology’ University of Arizona. (ii) Lewis Aptekar – Dept. of
counselor education, San Jose state University, USA. (iii) Reed W.Larson, University of Illinois, USA. Professor T.S. Saraswati in her course on “Cross Cultural Psychology” arranged these lecture programme.
